In just his third full-season touring as a professional disc golfer, Prodigy Core Team member Alden Harris has made the leap to become one of the sport’s top talents and engaging personalities. His tour vlogs, which often feature teammates Gannon Buhr, Isaac Robinson, and Ezra Robinson, are appointment viewing.
On the course, Alden captured his first Disc Golf Pro Tour victory at the Mid America Open in August 2022, a Silver Series event played at Harmony Bends, one of America’s highest-rated courses. This was three months after Alden won another career-shaping tournament in Southern California by taking down The Challenge @ Goat Hill Park. A top five finish at the 2023 Portland Open is his best career Elite Series result to date.
Alden is a top 25 ranked player in the world and finished the 2022 DGPT season 23rd in Circle 1X Putting and 16th in Parked percentage. A defining image of Alden playing includes holding a towel in his off-hand, and he has increased the popularity of ultra-lightweight discs like the F7 that he uses for entertainment on his YouTube channel and for tricky situations on the course.
While he is no slouch off the tee – exhibited by his long-range ace at The Open at Austin – Alden’s disc golf game is not predicated on power, and his bag is a mix of old favorites he has thrown since his Prodigy Street Team years and new classics such as the FX-4 fairway driver.
