Midrange Discs
A midrange disc is a type of disc that is designed for shots that require more control and accuracy than distance. Midrange discs have a straighter flight path than drivers and are ideal for approach shots, shorter drives, and shots around obstacles. They have a flatter top and a smaller rim than drivers, which makes them easier to control and maneuver. With a range of weights and plastics available, midrange discs can be customized to suit a player's individual needs and playing style, making them an essential tool for any disc golfer looking to improve their short-range game. Our collection features both overstable and understandable midrange discs. The overstable discs hook predictably to the left (for right-handed backhand throws) and perform well in windy conditions. Understable discs turn right during the initial part of the flight (for right-handed backhand throws), making them easier to throw for beginners and perfect for throwing around right-side obstacles, especially in calm conditions.
