The Prodigy Disc BP-1 V3 remains the standard-bearer for anyone looking to pick up a lightweight, durable large capacity disc golf bag at an extremely accessible price point. Along with its abundant space and water and tear-resistant Nylon Ripstop fabric, the BP-1 V3 now offers more personalization with an interchangeable patch and five color options.
The patch includes Prodigy branding but can be customized to add a personalized flair to your bag (not included) along with the all-new color array to help you stand out on the course. You can still fill up the main compartment with more 20+ discs and then put your favorite pair of putters in the front putter pocket, which now includes a sleek, debossed pull tab. There's plenty of extra room in the large top pocket that can fit 4 putters or other accessories, and the expandable side pockets can be used for discs, snacks, towels, and even extra gear. The water-resistant zippers, magnetic easy access pockets, umbrella sleeve, and insulated 32 oz. bottle holders also provide extra convenience.

I bought a bag and when I first received it I really liked it but after a few rounds the tread in the top zipper came undone so I emailed them and they told me to cut the main flap and send pics and they would send me another one so I did all of this. A month later received my new bag I have had it about three months now and now this bag has done the exact same thing. I have paid to much money for this bag to be doing this, I’m very disappointed in the craftsmanship of this bag. And no I don’t abuse and have not over filled the top area.
I bought this BP1-V3 and the bottom pad in the main compartment was incorrectly measured and sewn wrong. I went through the warranty process with Prodigy. I was told they would send me a new bag but i needed to cut the main flap off my bag and show pics of proof, then they send me a new bag. I did what they requested and I never heard from them again. I've sent several email, texts asking for a status and I've left reviews hoping to get someones attention but they have completely dismissed me. Then Prodigy has the nerve to send me this request to review their bag! EDIT: Prodigy replaced my bag after a disconnect with customer service. Love the replacement!
I replaced my Dynamic Discs Paratrooper with the BP-1 V3. For $50.00 more, I was expecting a better bag. The disc storage areas are great, but the two smaller side pockets don't stay shut. They are held in place by tiny magnets that don't hold. It's not a very reassuring place to put your wallet/keys or cellphone. For the price this bag should be better.
I recieved my new prodigy BP V3 backpack, However, upon assembly one of the support pockets on the inside is zipped up but no actual zipper handle to open it to put the insert. Anyone else have this problem? Other than that the bag is great.
Bag is OK. Bag #1 - shoulder strap stitching came loose after just one weekend of use, so another bag was sent to me. Good customer service! 2nd bag, so far so good, but I’m not sold in the shoulder strap construction, still feels like it’s not going to last. I carry a FULL bag so I’m trying to be gentle with how I pick it up and cary it, but I really don’t think I should have to baby the bag. I have only used bag #2 twice so we’ll see.
Also, if you use the top pocket to Cary discs, the main pocket flap will not stay connected to the Velcro in the open position. the top discs push the flap down and disconnects the Velcro. Poor design.
The zipper to the top pocket gets in the way when pocket is open.
Finally, would be nice to have a mini pocket on the outside of bag.
I’ve been using this bag for a few months now and I love how much it has to offer. Price is very reasonable. Generous number of pockets and compartments for discs, accessories, snacks, water bottles, phones, etc. And it’s comfortable. Highly recommend.
The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because of the frustrating assembly. Other than that it is great! They even replaced my bad when the stitching in the shoulder straps broke.
I love this bag! Has awesome amount of storage for every disc you need!
So much more comfortable then the combat commander I was using before and cheaper price tag as well. A win all the way around with this bag! Good job Prodigy 💯 💯 💯
