The FX-4 is a fast, stable to slightly understable fairway driver. With a wider rim than our F Series, it carries more speed and pushes further down the fairway. In flight, it will have neutral to slightly understable characteristics depending on your arm speed. Power players will see some movement to the right (right handed backhand), while lower arm speeds will get a straight ride with a mild finish.

500 Plastic is a premium blend that has a less gummy feel than 400 plastic. This provides you with an extremely confident grip and a stiffer flight plate, balancing just the right amount of flex and firmness. 500 Plastic has a uniquely pearlescent finish which adds another visual element to each disc.

More overstable than the numbers, but it flies amazing. This is a straight to overstable driver in this plastic. I think this should be marketed as a 9/5/0/1 instead of having similar numbers to the H4 that flies nowhere near how this disc flies. Good disc, but poor advertising I think.
This might be the most underrated disc on the market right now. The thing is, it's not a disc that beginners will get the most out of. It really excels at that 400-450 hyzer flip to flat or hyzer flip to gentle turn--which is why you see the pros like Isaac and Gannon throwing these all over on the tour-level woods courses.
For me it's replaced my understable/beat up 12 speed drivers because it's easier to control but still somehow goes just as far, and I can replace it easily if I lose it. I've thrown it in both 500 and 400 and they're pretty similar. It hasn't lost stability as I've used it; if anything it's gained stability which I can't explain...
Overall an extremely useful disc, but when buying keep in mind that unless you're throwing around 400' it's not going to turn much, and you might be better off with something a little less stable for your hyzer flip shots. If you throw over 400', this will replace multiple discs in your bag--almost guaranteed. It did for me...
It is way straighter than advertised maybe it's more understable in a different plastic, but in 500 plastic it just goes straight forever before it hyzers off (fade), however, 500 plastic dyes great so if you're looking for a nine speed that's incredibly straight and will dye really well this is the disc for you
I like this fairway driver but it’s hard to throw for some reason
Disc Feel: 500 plastic feels great and the disc is comfortable in hand. Nice fairway driver rim.
Disc Flight: 9-Speed is probably accurate, but this disc is not understable whatsoever. In fact, it is significantly more overstable than an undertaker, TL3, Aztec, and other control drivers that I have thrown. I've thrown it 25-50 times and it hasn't beaten in even a little bit. It flies straight for about 300-330' and then dumps out to the left to finish. It's actually somewhat difficult to even get it to turn when released on anhyzer...
Thoughts: If you're looking for a fairway driver that will turn for you and be shapeable right away, I would not recommend this disc. Instead, try a Westside Hatchet or maybe a Sidewinder. If you're looking for just a solid, serviceable disc that will go straight for about 300'-330' then finish left, then try the FX-4.
