400 Plastic is a premium blend of materials that is extremely durable and gives the thrower an impeccable grip, even when it is wet. It is the most popular Prodigy plastic across the entire lineup of discs. While 400 Plastic is often known for its translucent properties, which catch the sunlight well for pronounced colors in the daytime, it can also be more opaque. 400 plastic has a stiff rim and more “pop” when you flex the center of the disc.

Brady J. Overall a great driver for lower speed arms. My maximum distance is about 270ft and this is just a bomb on and open fairway or even a tunnel shot.

K.R. If you have a smaller arm, this is a great disc to bomb with. Straight to stable out of the box, and will get some turn as it starts to wear in. I can push mine really straight for about 300ish feet before it starts to softly fade out to around 350. The 400 plastic is amazing with a grippy and slightly gummy feel.

Anthony M. Let me start by saying I love the feel of this disc. If you're newer to the sport any disc over an 11 speed won't fly the way it was intended. That being said I can crank this disc on a massive anhyzer forehand and it will have a great flight until it violently fades into the ground. I like this disc for long downhill holes where the flight can really play out. If you aren't an advanced speed thrower maybe go with the FX4 before this .

Jordan B. 400 plastic is the perfect driver plastic. Gummy, yet durable. It was a little more stable than I thought it was going to be, granted I don’t have much more than 420 ft of power. Stays on the line you put it and will even fight a little bit of wind.

Ben W. So I've heard rumbles that Prodigy re-tooled some of their D series drivers to make them, essentially, more stable. I've noticed the difference in the D2, and I thought I'd try a D3. Wow.
These new 400 D3s are the first disc that I've been able to consistently push over 470 (twice over 500'!!!) on flat ground, no wind. They just go. Yeah, they're a bit on the stable side compared to what I would have EXPECTED, but they're beating up nicely to be crazy long. I've got 3 400 D3s, 1 400G, 1 750G and the 400 are the longest ones.
Excellent disc. I'll throw a new one into a stiff headwind, but not my beat-in one. 400G/750G are headwind fighters with great distance potential.
