The Prodigy Disc A2 is an overstable utility disc that fills the gap between midranges and putters. The A2 is perfect for power throwers who want to avoid the possibility of their shot turning over. The disc is consistent and reliable in all wind conditions and perfect for short, trick shots as well as high wind approach shots. The A2 is a beadless cousin to the A1 and will fly just slightly less stable than the A1. You can expect and extra 30 to 40 feet of glide than the A1.

400 Plastic is a premium blend of materials that is extremely durable and gives the thrower an impeccable grip, even when it is wet. It is the most popular Prodigy plastic across the entire lineup of discs. While 400 Plastic is often known for its translucent properties, which catch the sunlight well for pronounced colors in the daytime, it can also be more opaque. 400 plastic has a stiff rim and more “pop” when you flex the center of the disc.

This disc needs no introduction. Pretty much the only disc I use within 200ft of the basket and ESPECIALLY on FH shots.
I received this disc in a tournament at the beginning of this year. It has changed my whole upshot game. It is extremely reliable in both head wind and tail wind. I love the way it feels in my hand. It has just the right amount of glide to keep it on the overstable side. I love it for placement shots within 200ft. I absolutely recommend this for sidearm approaches.
Anything inside of 200 feet it will get you with in 10 feet and just sit.

Great color, great plastic, can't wait to get more!
I love the A2 for overstable skip shots, forehand flex lines. 400 plastic dyes so well. I’m definitely going to be grabbing some A3’s next.
Better getcha 1 or 2
Man, I love this disc. Once you get a feel for it you can't help but reach for it. It's very reliable for skip upshots (on short grass), hyzer upshots, and short flex lines. This disc helps me find circle one consistently.
The A2 is the best overstable approach disc on the market! I love the 400 plastic!
If you throw Prodigy, you likely throw an A2. I have a couple 300 A2s in my bag, one new and beefy and one beat to oblivion that flies like I think an M2 should. The 300 plastics are great for approaches because they sit when they hit....but what about the 400 plastic? If you have said in the past, "I wish Prodigy had a real, true overstable mid", here you go. The 400 A2 has the beefiness of a true overstable mid, but just enough glide to give it midrange distance. An A2 and an A3 would cover all approach shots and all overstable midrange shots easily. The 400 plastic is durable but still feels great in the hand. This disc, even though it's crazy overstable, is still a good disc for beginners and intermediates. This disc will teach you how to throw nose-level, how to throw anhyzer flexes, and how to control distances with angle and height. I have played a few 1-disc rounds...and I always, without thinking, grab my A2. The video shows a 300 A2 on forehand but the flight is the same with a 400 plastic one.
Picked up the A2 and A3 both in lavender 400 plastic. The A2 is a more stable version and is great for shots when I just can't decide what to throw. Backhand, forehand, doesn't matter, this disc just flat out gets me out of trouble.
