The F9 is the most understable fairway driver available from Prodigy Disc. Designed for beginners or players with lower arm speed to be able to get a disc to hyzerflip or have very little low-speed fade, this fairway driver is also a great disc for players learning how to throw a roller.

The F9 has a smaller rim width which helps players with smaller hands grip the disc better. For children and beginners, the F9 can be a maximum distance driver that produces a full-flex S-curve flight at a low speed. More experienced players can also throw low-effort turnover shots to easily bend the disc around a corner

400 Plastic is a premium blend of materials that is extremely durable and gives the thrower an impeccable grip, even when it is wet. It is the most popular Prodigy plastic across the entire lineup of discs. While 400 Plastic is often known for its translucent properties, which catch the sunlight well for pronounced colors in the daytime, it can also be more opaque. 400 plastic has a stiff rim and more “pop” when you flex the center of the disc.

Unexpectedly great disc!

I recently got an F9 in 400 plastic on National Disc Golf Day. I am predominantly a backhand player, so under-stable plastic is quite important to me for right-bending holes and flexes. I had just been looking for a highly under-stable fairway to for between my 300 F7, my Star Rollo and my Star Roadrunner. The first time I took the F9 to the field, I was just amazed at how smooth and predictable the flight was.

It has become a workhorse in my bag. As it has very little fade, I love to throw it flat on right-bending holes and watch it bend right toward the basket. I also, have found that it has great distance in hyzer-flip shots. Also, when needed, it is great too make a tight turn when thrown on a moderate hyzer.

After a few weeks, the F9 has become a prominent disc in my bag. It more occupies all of the space between my Neutron Paradox, my GStar Leopard3, and my Star Roadrunner! I simply love this disc!

No issues with the disc. It fades to the right and I can get it up to speed with my slower arm speed.

Great Disc

My first throw with this disc was over water and it could not have performed better. Any other disc would have sunk into the watery depths of Florida but this disc just s-curved over the water perfectly.

F9 review

My F9 has a late flip when I don't overpower it. It's a very fun disc.

Trusty turnover disc

Love this disc so far! I don’t have the fastest arm speed so I can control this disc’s turn pretty well. I assume as it breaks it, the under stability will follow, but I still get a nice fade at the end of the flight.
