Plastic
500 Plastic has been in development for quite some time, formulated and based on carefully considered player feedback. It has a stiffer, less gummy feel than 400 Plastic. This provides an extremely confident grip on the flight plate, balancing just the right amount of flex and firmness, with a very solid feeling rim that we believe disc golfers are going to love. 500 Plastic has a uniquely pearlescent finish, unlike anything else in the Prodigy Disc plastic line.

Charlie J. I love all of the As Prodigy makes. That being said, the A3 is the best for accuracy as it is very predictable. After being slightly broken in it goes straight as an arrow and then fades hard. The more it gets broken in the more distance it will get. I mainly use the A3 as a forehand 'off the tee' throw for short holes. Full power forehand for me goes about 400ft with a distance driver. With the A3 at full power I get around 300ft/320ft.
If you are a beginner, go with the A4 in 300 plastic instead of the A3. If you do not have a lot of power the A3 will be very over stable.

Great scramble disc, only 4 stars because the flight plane has one slightly depressed section where its less comfortable for me to grip

Lukas W. I immediately love this disc. The 500 plastic feels great, it's a glidier approach disc than the A2, which means I can throw my over stable approach shots a bit softer and touchier. But it's also great for short technical woods shots off the tee. Basically a slower Firebird or FX-2 for throwing around trees. Love it.

Dominic I throw this disc on literally every hole.it gets you out of trouble or can be that reliable, predictable approach disc you are looking for. I used to throw A2s mostly but once I got used to the bead I prefer the feel of these more and they have more glide before fading out.

Josh M. Love this Disc I bought 2 A3 500 to replace what A3 I lost. I love the glide specially when you have tunnel shots around corners. Holds it flight and stable out at the end

Dayne Z. This disc works great for approach shots where you need reliable overstability. You can flick this disc on anhyzer and it will quickly flip and fade back hard for a nice finish to the basket.
