anything from a technical 50 foot to about 240-250- backhand and sidearm, the A3 might be my most often thrown in the bag, definitely one of my fav molds
This has quickly become my driving putter for short left dog legs, and a go to disc in the woods where on an anhyzer release the disc easily weaves thru tight gaps.
Great scramble disc, only 4 stars because the flight plane has one slightly depressed section where its less comfortable for me to grip
I immediately love this disc. The 500 plastic feels great, it's a glidier approach disc than the A2, which means I can throw my over stable approach shots a bit softer and touchier. But it's also great for short technical woods shots off the tee. Basically a slower Firebird or FX-2 for throwing around trees. Love it.
I throw this disc on literally every hole.it gets you out of trouble or can be that reliable, predictable approach disc you are looking for. I used to throw A2s mostly but once I got used to the bead I prefer the feel of these more and they have more glide before fading out.
Love this Disc I bought 2 A3 500 to replace what A3 I lost. I love the glide specially when you have tunnel shots around corners. Holds it flight and stable out at the end
This disc works great for approach shots where you need reliable overstability. You can flick this disc on anhyzer and it will quickly flip and fade back hard for a nice finish to the basket.
The A3 is my favorite disc without a doubt. The one I'm throwing right now is amazing and can do everything I want out of a midrange that I can't actually seem to pull off with a midrange.
I decided to buy another A3 because it's that crucial to my bag and then I bought this one as just extra insurance. That's how much I love this disc.
Love love love the feelnof the flat top of the A3. Great glide and reliable finish.
Prodigy's model review is spot on. Love that I can depend on the A3's stability even with the wind up. The glide is perfectly dialed for what I want to throw on approach shots; just enough glide that it doesn't feel like I'm throwing a brick but not enough for it to ever fly away. Prodigy's plastic review is also spot on. The 500 plastic does in-fact provide an extremely confident grip. I would like to add that it has this wonderful tact to it, like it was fairy dusted with cellophane. In final, the A3 flight is very true/predictable/stable in all conditions and the feel of the 500 plastic inspires confidence in my hand, making the A3 500 a staple in my bag.
My A3's stamp has so much shimmer that I'm also confident this thing will catch ALL the fish.
Love this disc, it’s predictable every time for me.
