The Prodigy Disc BP-1 V3 remains the standard-bearer for anyone looking to pick up a lightweight, durable large capacity disc golf bag at an extremely accessible price point. Along with its abundant space and water and tear-resistant Nylon Ripstop fabric, the BP-1 V3 now offers more personalization with an interchangeable patch and five color options.
The patch includes Prodigy branding but can be customized to add a personalized flair to your bag (not included) along with the all-new color array to help you stand out on the course. You can still fill up the main compartment with more 20+ discs and then put your favorite pair of putters in the front putter pocket, which now includes a sleek, debossed pull tab. There's plenty of extra room in the large top pocket that can fit 4 putters or other accessories, and the expandable side pockets can be used for discs, snacks, towels, and even extra gear. The water-resistant zippers, magnetic easy access pockets, umbrella sleeve, and insulated 32 oz. bottle holders also provide extra convenience.
This product requires some minor setup before use. For setup instructions, please click the "Setup Instructions" tab at the bottom of the page.

SETUP INSTRUCTIONS
The Out Of Box experience for a product is important - it defines how delighted or disappointed you are with your purchase. I'd have to say that the OOB experience for this bag is one of the worse I've had.
Before you can use this bag, you have to finish "assembling" it, which requires installing inserts that provide the structure for the bag. The problem is that these inserts are INCREDIBLY difficult. The fit tolerance is so tight that these, realistically, should have sewn in at the factory. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I have assembled complex pieces of furniture that took less time and less frustration. It took over 2 hours to try to fit 6 inserts (one of which was not covered by the instructional video, so I just had to guess on what to do with it). I still don't know if they are inserted correctly, as the bag is lopsided on one side, but I can't get that side's piece to go in any better no matter what I do.
Having a bag that is now going to be perpetually lopsided due to a nearly impossible task of installing inserts that should have been handled by the manufacturer - at this price point of a product - is pretty unacceptable.
I do like the bag and its versatility, but the "handle" created from the shoulder straps seems extremely flimsy. If this bag is going to fail, it feels like that's going to be the spot to go first. And the frustrations of the installation have permanently marred my enjoyment of this purchase.
I hate to say it, because I like Prodigy discs (their D4 Reblend plastic is my favorite distance driver - I currently own about 8 of them) and the company as a whole, but if I ever need a new bag and this is the only option, I'd rather carry my discs around in a plastic grocery bag than suffer through the insert installation process again.
Love the water resistant design and the varitey of pockets, easy to assemble, and lightweight. I just wish the side pockets for water bottles were a little bigger to hold larger bottles
My granson choose the bag, it came in and appears to be high quality and it also came with a free disc!
Love this bag, lots of space and well built.
Space, space and more space. Bag is heavy but not as heavy as you'd imagine. I put 32 discs in mine and could easily add 4-6 more. Comfortable on the back. It's the best bag out there for the price. I would buy one again.
Great backpack so far, should come with some instructions on where each panel goes, but easy enough to fogure out once you get started. Seems durable, definitely an upgrade from my last bag!
So happy with the bag and all the space! The panels were a little difficult to install but worth it!
This is a great durable bag , especially for the money. I came from a Grip that i did love but couldn’t justify another $300 to replace. This bag has all the same features and actually holds more discs . I can easily fit 32-36 comfortably, overall this is by far the best bag for the money by far that I have personally found.
Best Prodigy Bag..Hands down!! Great storage for all the things and sooo many discs. Plus Lifetime Warranty! Had a seamless pop on the putter pouch. Prodigy came in HUGE! New bag..no cost..and got to keep the older bag with the flap cut off. Amazing Customer Service! 5 Stars all day!! Thank You Prodigy!!
This back has an incredibly sturdy design- everything was thought through on this bag. Velcro where you need it, beefy zippers. Plastic inserts for stiffness… I didn’t find out until later it even has a slot for a retriever. Designed to last and literally every feature I could need with plenty of storage.
