The Prodigy Brand, Refreshed

Ten years ago, Prodigy Disc was announced to the disc golf world, as our first drivers were brought to market alongside a robust roster of players that changed the landscape of professional disc golf. We quickly introduced high-quality disc golf targets, bags, and accessories alongside our discs, and our players have been a constant presence on the biggest stages.

We have reflected on what we have seen, heard, and learned over the past decade and see an opportunity to refresh our brand. We wanted to bring our innovative, forward-thinking spirit into the modern disc golf space while recognizing the impact of our devoted community.

We have updated our logo suite to have a more modern, sleek, and professional look. We wanted to make it more legible at different scales, and you will see the word “Disc” has been dropped because your support has let the Prodigy name stand alone. We have also updated our colors. They remain true to what you have known as Prodigy with a more vibrant look and feel.

Our unique naming system was created to make disc selection quick and easy for a wider range of players. The easier it is for players, the easier it is for our many great retailers, too. We have seen some areas where this can improve, so we are consolidating our plastic names and removing “V2” from any disc molds. An example of plastics being consolidated is replacing 350G with 300 Firm to better fit alongside 300 and 300 Soft. As the opportunities to clean those areas up continue to arise, we will keep you informed.

Prodigy was founded by World Champions who passed down their knowledge to create a better landscape for future players in the disc golf industry. That tradition has continued with current players that have taken huge leaps in their disc golf careers while using our products. We are confident we can provide players with all the tools and resources to reach the top.

We are passionate about disc golf as more than a hobby. It is an athletic pursuit, and we want to provide the best equipment possible to help players succeed on the course. We are in constant motion, just like disc golfers, as we continue to be agile in being globally competitive.
