The low profile on the X5 makes for a comfortable grip, and players with a lower arm speed can get glide and distance out of the understable flight. The 400 Spectrum Plastic is swirly to add a nice colorful element along with the Mini Circle Star is ghosted in the middle.

- Flight Chart
The Prodigy Disc X5 is an understable, low profile, high-speed distance driver. It is great for all players. Players with lower arm speed will get a lot more glide and distance. Players with moderate arm speed will be able to get a long flight out of this disc by throwing a slight hyzer flip. (Left edge down about 20% from flat at release). For players with faster arm speed, the X5 will flip early in its flight path and will turn right, with a soft finish to the left making it useful for wooded holes that require shaping the shot. It will also be great for long controlled rollers. The X5 performs very well at low heights and in tunnel shots.
400 Plastic is a premium blend of material that is extremely durable. The unique blend of plastics feels as good as it looks and will be able to be broken in over time. This tour quality plastic gives the thrower impeccable grip, even when it is wet.

I got this for max distance, but it surprisingly has a lot of fade at the end of its flight and will cut out of its flight sooner than expected.
Hyzer flip bomber very fast disc.
This disc flies very far, but still with great touch. It is way more overstable then I expected though, so you need to put a lot of power into your throw to get any turn. I don't think this would be good for new players, but players with power who want just one maximum distance disc will love this. The plastic feels so comfortable.
I had a 165g x5 in 400g but sadly lost it and noone returned it. It had a lot of dome and could ride hyzers flips for an eternity. This run of the x5, at least for me, has been very overstable. When I say overstable, I mean it is flying like a destroyer no matter how hard I throw it or what angle I put it on. The disc is lacking any dome and it's going to take a while to beat it in to more accurate flight characteristics; hoping I don't lose it before that occurs.
This review is more about they buying experience than the disc itself. That being said, I love Prodigy and whenever I have called in the customer service has been great. But not being able to pick the exact disc, weight and color a pretty bad system. Paying a premium price for a disc and getting a random weight or color is not something I will continue to do. I was wanting the blue and got a sandy color, the weight was also not good for me. I know there's plenty of retailers that provide much more detailed information on what the customer is actually getting and I know Prodigy can do a better job in that regard. The actual product, remains excellent.
