400 Plastic is a premium blend of materials that is extremely durable and gives the thrower an impeccable grip, even when it is wet. It is the most popular Prodigy plastic across the entire lineup of discs. While 400 Plastic is often known for its translucent properties, which catch the sunlight well for pronounced colors in the daytime, it can also be more opaque. 400 plastic has a stiff rim and more “pop” when you flex the center of the disc.
Lofty, understable, hyzerflip to straight, high and looong. Super fun throwing putter like a rounder, bulkier polecat. Makes long putts easier and fights wind well.
Pa-4s are my go to understable throwing putter. I love the way they turn up, then over and hold, and land flat. Without a righty forehand (I’m lefty sidearm and righty backhand), it gives me the result of a right hand sidearm on a backhand line. And in premium for plastic, it feels much better and lasts longer than the 300 ones I used to throw, plus 400 is fairly gummy which feels really nice in the hand, especially in cold weather.
