Description

You are going to want to show off the beautiful Spectrum swirls that go along with the nice pearly shine of our 500 Plastic on these PA-1s, so we are leaving the tops blank. Toss one with the Mini Star on the bottom for overstable tee shots and approaches.

The Prodigy Disc PA-1 Putt & Approach disc is designed to be overstable. The consistent flight path of this disc makes it a favorite of disc golfers looking for consistency and reliability in all wind conditions.

500 Plastic has been in development for quite some time, formulated and based on carefully considered player feedback. It has a stiffer, less gummy feel than 400 Plastic. This provides an extremely confident grip on the flight plate, balancing just the right amount of flex and firmness, with a very solid feeling rim that we believe disc golfers are going to love. 500 Plastic has a uniquely pearlescent finish, unlike anything else in the Prodigy Disc plastic line.

Pretty But No Spot

My version was a very pretty, swirly, dark teelish. I tried the before PA-3 so I wanted to look at an overstable throwing putter that didn't turn over but went relatively straight in moderate head wind or with strong torque. Even with a slightly bigger than usual hyzer, however, it still turned over a bit too much in these situations. I guess I need to look at a PAX or something else--I'm not sure what that would be called, but because this disc was only slightly overstable, I didn't really see the point. For me, it was also too rounded on the edge making it even more uncomfortable, even as a shorter approach disc or using a fan grip. Maybe it will work better as an approach disc or putter if you really like deep dishes. I do love and bag the Prodigy A1, A2, and A3, so maybe that will help add some context to my comments.

Very good off the tee. Good glide with a meat hook on the end.

I can't tell you how much I love these discs

They're stunning to look at, and I love using the pa1 as my stable approach disc. But again, these are some of the most beautiful discs I own.

Prodigy! I finish middle of the pack in ma4, but you should still sponsor me anyway and just send me these once a year!
