The Prodigy Disc FX-2 packs a punch in our fairway lineup, bringing speed to its class as it fits in between our F Series and H Series. Created in collaboration with 2-time Disc Golf Pro Tour Champion Chris Dickerson, the FX-2 is overstable with dimensions specific to Chris’ desires in a disc. The FX-2 has a profile that provides a comfortable feel for both backhand and sidearm throwers. Crank on it as hard as you want and get a fast, straight flight with a medium finish or scale back the power for controlled hyzers. No matter how you throw it, you’ll be surprised how far it flies. Not to mention, it’s Robot Chicken approved. The FX-2 brings a new brand of fairway driver to the table with more to come.
400 Plastic is a premium blend of material that is extremely durable. The unique blend of plastics feels as good as it looks and will be able to be broken in over time. This tour quality plastic gives the thrower impeccable grip, even when it is wet.

Great addition for me, just starting out.
The disc has an interesting flight where it turns but then also fades really hard. I think I like that but the disc is unthrowable with how sharp the bottom is. I even texted one of the prodigy pros and they said take some sandpaper to it.
After using an entire sanding block on it and roughing it up a lot I can throw it but it still hurts my hand. In my experience Innova comes out of the box feeling great, Discraft and Discmania have a tiny sharp edge that’s gone after a few throws and prodigy should come with an electric sander in the box. I don’t know how discs like my FX2 made it through quality control.
#1 disc in my bag
