It flies great! I got a 159g. Version, stable when you want, flippy when you need it. I am not an expert so ddon't take this too seriously but, when the wind is right, and the weather warm I can get better controlled distance than with many other discs I've used. However, here in Buffalo, wind and temp can be an issue,
I find it hard to control in moderate ( say15 - 20 mph) air and I find the plastic stiffens and the disc becomes less responsive when the temp is below 50 deg. But as I said earlier I am at best an amateur.
I bought the F3 Fairway driver in a light weight of 153g. This is just an amazing disc for not only beginners but intermediate players. This disc can really go the distance. It has a great feel to it. It is easy to grip and control. I have been playing around with dying discs and this is how mine turned out. Originally it was white. I was a little concerned about getting buying Podigy because I’ve never thrown one but I really like it.. this is definitely a go to disc for me.
Since the FX4 is my favorite straight no flex fairway driver and the M4 my favorite straightish midrange this does well to fill the gap right between them albeit with a slightly bigger fade than I'd prefer. Still it's a great disc and has a permanent spot in my bag.
For an older guy with a slower arm the Air plastic gives me the ability to get the same flight out of the disc as faster arms. Love it.
