This is a special run to mark the release of the D2 Pro! Each one is in 500 Spectrum and features the classic First Run stamp featuring the Prodigy logo!
The D2 Pro is a very overstable, high speed distance driver. The slimmer profile gives it a similar feel in the hand to the D2 Max, but the D2 Pro significantly cranks up the overstability. Players will be able count on a hard finish, and those with higher arm speeds and more power can get a similar flight to the D2, but with slightly less glide and a stronger fade.

500 Plastic has been in development for quite some time, formulated and based on carefully considered player feedback. It has a stiffer, less gummy feel than 400 Plastic. This provides an extremely confident grip on the flight plate, balancing just the right amount of flex and firmness, with a very solid feeling rim that we believe disc golfers are going to love. 500 Plastic has a uniquely pearlescent finish, unlike anything else in the Prodigy Disc plastic line.

My mold came a little bit more domey than some of my other D2s, very stable, great flyer, great disc!
Of the new D2 Pro molds/plastic options, the 500 spectrum is by far the best flyer. Besides the INSANE colors/swirls, the 500 spectrum flies the best for me. Workable distance, dependable stability. Not Prototype stamped OVERstability, but definitely overstable. Prodigy definitely took player feedback and applied to the new D2’s!
These are amazing. Get some.
The disc is very glidey and stable. It fits nicely with the other drivers of their lineup. I've had it for only a couple of days, but once it beats on it feels like it would be a bomber. With the D3 I have been able to throw 400 (for an estimation of my power) I got no turn out of it but It flew pretty straight with a nice left finish. It is very destroyer like.
