Description
These D2s were the first disc made in our 450 Plastic, which comes in a unique, rich purple color that is crystal clear. They carry a small bit of Prodigy history, marked with an "8" for the plastic, as it was originally intended to be a 800 Plastic blend. Instead, it is our 450 Plastic designated for exclusive special edition releases in limited runs.
These were originally released a few years ago in support of our Core Team as a popular disc they chose among them. These were generally known to be on the overstable side.

The Prodigy Disc D2 is a very fast, over stable driver that is designed for strong throwers. Just slightly less stable than the D1, this driver is good in all conditions and flies just as well into the wind as it does with the wind. It is an extremely reliable driver with the least amount of side-to-side movement of any driver on the market. It is equally as long, twice as forgiving and has a much gentler finish.
The all new 450 Plastic combines various plastic technologies to produce a top-end result. Building off of our signature 400 Plastic, it provides a tackier grip, stiffer feel, and a slightly more durable composition. This plastic looks amazing, with its glossy finish and crystal clear color. 450 Plastic will be exclusive to special edition releases and in limited runs. This release features eye-catching Glimmer specks molded into the plastic.
