Matt Orum came off the top rope to win the Southside Smackdown 15. Orum is a formidable regular at Southern Nationals events, this time taking a victory in Mobile, Ala.

It was a tight race through out with the competition sparring over four rounds and a final nine. Osborne had the hot score in rounds two and four and shared it in the final nine to win by two. He totaled a 9-under 249.
Harper Thompson tussled for the win in Advanced, leading the event outright after two rounds. He continued his strong play throughout the event and ultimately finished in second. He tossed a 26-under 240 for the event and averaged more than 30 points above his rating while shooting every round over his rating.
