It was tight at the top for both Open Men and Open Women at the Jonesboro Open, the latest Disc Golf Pro Tour event in Arkansas. For Catrina Allen, it was down to the wire as the champion was decided on the last hole. In Open Men, Kevin Jones’ placed himself squarely in the mix from the start, and Chris Dickerson tied the hot score in the second round to join Jones on the final round lead card.
Chris Dickerson tuned up for this weekend’s Jonesboro Open with a win seven stroke win at The Iron Pig. He totaled a 21-under par 95 over two rounds at the Harriman, Tenn., event. Ragna Bygde snagged her second win in as many tournaments at the Furious Squirrel in Albion, Mich. Bygde showed little rust for her first event since February, posting the hot score in both rounds.

There was no question Catrina Allen would pick up her first signature win of 2019 sooner rather than later. It was only a matter of when. Allen turned in a masterful performance at the Waco Annual Charity Open in Texas. Seppo Paju also finished with a flourish, as his bogey-free 14-under 53 moved him into a third place tie.
